Dispute Resolution Protocol

One of the most frequent high-intent keywords users search for is "Torzon dispute rules". A dispute is the formal mechanism to pause the escrow timer and invite an admin to mediate a transaction. Our Escrow System is Multisig (2-of-3), meaning funds are locked until two parties agree.

If you find yourself in a situation where a vendor has not shipped, provided a fake tracking number, or the product quality is compromised, follow this strict timeline:

Step 1: Communication (0-48 Hours)
Before clicking "Dispute", message the vendor. Delays happen. Shipping services (USPS/DHL/Royal Mail) often have gaps in tracking. 90% of issues are resolved by asking the vendor for an update.
Step 2: Initiate Dispute (Crucial!)
If the vendor is unresponsive or hostile, click the [Dispute] button on your order page. You MUST do this before the "Auto-Finalize" timer hits zero. Once disputed, the timer stops, and funds are frozen in the market wallet.
Step 3: Evidence Submission
Upon opening a dispute, you must provide evidence. For non-arrival, this is simple. For bad quality, you must upload photos. IMPORTANT: Use our internal tool to strip EXIF metadata from photos to protect your anonymity.
Step 4: Admin Verdict
A Torzon Moderator will review the chat logs, vendor history, and evidence. The moderator will then execute the multisig transaction to either Refund the Buyer (100%), Release to Vendor (100%), or Split the funds (50/50).
Common Issues & Troubleshooting

To reduce ticket volume and get you answers faster, we have compiled detailed solutions for the most common technical issues. Please expand the relevant section below.

Monero is a privacy coin, and Torzon requires 10 confirmations on the blockchain to prevent double-spend attacks. This typically takes 20-40 minutes. If your wallet shows "Sent" but your market balance is 0:

1. Check the Transaction ID (TxID) on a block explorer like XMRChain.
2. Ensure you sent XMR to the unique sub-address generated for YOUR account. Using an old address from a previous deposit will result in lost funds.
3. If 2 hours have passed and confirmations are >10, open a ticket with the TxID.

Security is paramount. If you lose your PGP key, you cannot decrypt the 2FA login message. Torzon admins CANNOT simply "turn off" 2FA for you, as this is a common social engineering tactic used by hackers.

The only way to recover an account is if you have a backup of your PGP private key. If you have truly lost your PGP key, your account and funds are inaccessible. You must create a new account.

Finalize Early (FE) means releasing funds to the vendor before receiving the product. This is highly risky. Only vendors with "Trusted" status (Level 10+) or specific FE privileges have this enabled.

If a vendor asks you to FE and they do not have the FE badge, they are breaking market rules. Report them immediately. Torzon does not cover losses for voluntary FE transactions.

To sell on Torzon, you must pay a vendor bond of $750 USD in Monero. This bond is refundable if you close your shop in good standing. We offer bond waivers for established vendors from Dread/Recon who can prove their identity via PGP verification. Open a "Vendor Application" ticket for waiver requests.

Admin PGP Key

All sensitive communication (account recovery, large disputes, bug bounties) must be encrypted. Below is the official Torzon Admin Public Key. Import this into Kleopatra or GPG Suite. Messages sent in plaintext regarding sensitive data will be ignored.
